Xice passive radiator cooling kit review
Bit-tech reviews Xice passive rad cooling kit
I was rather surprised that the thing worked as well as it did, but I can't imagine ever paying that much for that little. |
OMG! the "radiator" is made with the same sort of tube you use for automatic watering systems, that stuff costs about 10 € for 15m or so.
In fact I might just have some in teh garage...hehehe... might be using it tomorrow:D |
Yes, that's impressive construction (and a hell of a profit). I wonder what kind of flow they end up with after running through 10+ meters of 6mm tubing? A half dozen parallel copper tubes would be more interesting.

Or at least a little bit of copper in the radiator somewhere would be a nice addition.
Or even aluminum would be welcomed. Or even lead would be better than that stuff. |
lead, lol. I don't think theres much wrong with this design, I don't even mind the idea of using plastic pipe. My main objections are to using a single 10m line (why not have 2 or more in parrallel?) and of course the price tag is a little shocking when you know whats in the box:D
