Pumps and bore size.
Hi, I have stuck a car radiator on the outside of my house with a manifold setup for multiple machines. Though not a novel solution it has worked well. I covered it in and article HERE . Now in a second of inspiration I changed the radiator from a single to a two pass, mainly to see how easy it was. As expected it has however slowed the flow rate so I need to upgrade my hydor l30 for something with more flow, but more importantly more head. I was considering the Eheim 1260, which has the highest head, though there are other eheim with greater flow rates. Now does anyone know if I will have problems running this pump on a system with 1/2" tubing and 15mm piping or do I need to increase the systems bore size to 3/4". Naturally this is something I want to avoid as I have made the manifolds, but if I have no choice I will. Cheers.
