I'm sure he is not accurate with the numbers, as he does not have all the info needed, but I guess he might be damm close. I do know that the ratio for the MCP600 is better, as it has a closed impellerand better desighn. "all" the other pumps uses up to 5 times more power, and that's heat/sound(vibration)/light. |
Those make no sense.
Assuming the 1260 is almoust theratio of the mcp 600, it would have to pump, 24.2/6.38 = 3.8 more water then the mcp600, right? |
What puzzles me is that he seems to have calculated the power of the pump using the max head AND the max flow rate together, when this is simply not realistic.
He uses a calculation of the pump moving water to the max height at the max free flow rate. :confused: 8-ball |

His numbers are off because he forgot to add in the 1 BTU that's inside the pump and keeping it hot.
