if i could read japanese, i would. a guy my dad knows who imports japanese cars has a load of Toyota Hi-Ace Super Custom Delux models, one of which my dad bought. a few of the others we looked in had 8-10" LCD screens in the backs of the roof support/AC Unit above the driver/front passenger seat. i will ask the guy if i can have a look at the insides of one (it just has some weird logo and japanese writing, with a Toyota sticker over it) to see if i can establish who its made by.

i w had to sit through 10 mins of Eastenders while we were test driving it, it was okay, a little grainy when we went over bumps, but that may not matter. other than that it seemed just like a small low quality colour CRT TV.

Would you considder it good enough quality for games?

guandi 02-11-2004 11:46 AM

not especially, for the amount of screen there is alone i would not consider it for games at all, but i guess it would be just like playing Quake1 640x480 with everything turned down. bareable if you like to not know wtf is going on :p
