Pelts + Pixels... Guide anyone?
I just read This little article about pelt cooling a Radeon 9700 to 9800XT speeds and it gave me an idea.
I am going to buy a 9800XT/5950Ulta (i dont know which yet) in a few days time (when my bank balance gets a bit more "balanced") and i rather facy trying out the new DangerDen 12vpump in a seperate loop to cool a pelt. i havnt used a pelt in about 4 years now since my first adventures into watercooling with an unlimited bank balance and about 2 years since i have put anything i have done to a PC down in type. if the interest was great enough, i would be willing to write up a guide about pelt cooling a gfx card (properly, not ghetto stylee) and how to integrate it into an allready slightly cramped case, whole thing with pics and benchmarks for all to see. if people think that no-one would want to read such a POS, just say, otherwise i will put my spare money into the bank and get ordering  |
well, i'd be fairly interested in hearing this... i've always thought pelts would be fun :)

I would be verry interested in such an article.
Also, I think you would be happier twith the 9800xt, but i dont want to start a flame war :). |
heh, yeah, i'd stick with the ati goods. been using nothing but true ati stuff for the past several years, quite happy. and honestly, there hasn't been a game yet i can't play at 1600x1200x32 at stock speeds with my 9700 pro :)
