Classic Memory for Sale/Trade
As I was looking for trades for ppl, I came across a box of memory. In this box I found:
5 Matched pair of 72-pin simms, ranging from 4 to 8MB in size per simm. 7 Unmatched simms, ranging from 4-16MB each. I'd like to sell/trade them as a whole lot, for those of yall running older machines or upgrading, I'd take $25OBO shipped for all 17 simms. Also, I found 11 30 pin simms, ranging from 256KB to 1MB in range. Someone could probably use them to make great keychains (Linux maybe? Want some?). I was thinking $14 shipped for them (heck, put a keychain on it, and you could probably sell them $5-10 each) I'm also looking for any possible trades, mainly a Matrox G200, but willing to look at anything good. Paypal & MO accepted, will cross-ship trades. Waiting for heatware to add my evals, and I'll link it when they do. ------------------ T-Bird 850@1017 - KT7 Raid - 256 PC133 CAS2 - WinMe Dual Celerons 533@670 - BP6 - 256 MB PC133 CAS2 - Win2KServer [This message has been edited by syran (edited 12-06-2000).] |

Will the SIMMS work together even if they are unmatched? If so, LMK. I need some memory for a project I am working on.

Sometimes un-matched will work together, sometimes they won't http://www.procooling.com/ubb/frown.gif It depends on speed, type, and mem size. Also, only depends on Pentium Machines... if it's a 486 or older, you don't have to pair up memory, it was only on the Pentium class of processors that memory matching became nessaccary(sp)

How much for 8x4 matched pairs of SIMMs? Hook me up cheap http://www.procooling.com/ubb/wink.gif...

Well... I was hoping to unload everything for just $25 shipped... which is roughly $1.26 per simm... that's an average price of around $.315 a MB of memory, not a bad deal (it would make a 128MB stick of memory $41)... I've tested all the memory, it all works... just not sure of all the sizes for each one. You up to $25 (remember, I'll take trades) for it? I don't think it's a bad deal, even if it's older...

Not up to $25 cuz I have no want/use for the rest of the memory. Of course it would make a really cheap 128mb stick... cuz the mem is now defunct http://www.procooling.com/ubb/smile.gif. I'll give you some money for it, but not that much... sorry...

It may be defunct, but people still use them here or there... Anyway, how much are you willing to pay, and do you want all 17 strips?
