Compared to the old design.

hmm....

Hmm, another WW clone... But with tiny barbs.

I am building a WW clone for a friend of mine out of a 1U skivved copper heatsink and some leftover UHMW polyproplyene. Should look pretty pimp.

Yep, Swedish might be a bit tricky unless it´s Your native tounge.
Is it just me being suspicious or does the Antarctica look like a WhiteWater ripoff?
Its good performance just proves Cathars skill in wb design once more.

I recall a proliferation of Maze/spiral blocks a couple of years ago. No patents mean that a good idea spreads rapidly to all.

I wish more people would "clone" morphling's method of merging the 2 outlet design back to one though; not a huge fan of the 3 barb designs. I guess silverprop did take that design advance into consideration though in their WWesque block...

On that design, you could remove one of the barbs on the block because there is a deep channel on each side of the fins. Water would simply wheel around and go to the sides of the fins and into the exit barb. I think it looks nice, but small barbs = small flow = :(

Oh well.

I think the barb looks cool. low profile as hell.

pH: take a look at this design, might suit you better: http://www.watercoolplanet.de/index....genum=1&show=7

ordinarily you could just swap them out, but it looks as if you'd also have to bore out the top on this one...

strange barbs indeed...

whoooohoooo at last.... Somebody copies something that I got the blame for. :D

I'm the first guilty one for the hole spacings on a universal block. :D

It's mine and now They stole it.... Damn that feels good...... :)

ChrioN 02-27-2004 09:05 AM

#Rotor I can imagine how you feel lol :D

Groth 02-27-2004 09:52 AM

Your universal mounting is much better #rotor. What are you supposed to do with the Asetek blocks if the P4 and Operton mount points take up more room than you have around your Socket-A?

BaThMaN 02-27-2004 10:02 AM

#Rotor,
forgive me sir... but i find myself guilty of copying your design... both pin-fin blocks and Universal mounting... however, i did add a little twist ;)

here's our own version:

(a friend did it with a pair of hand and a dremel)
