NB, SB and FET waterblocks
Hi,
I built waterblocks for my 8rda+ http://www.mca.ckras.com/z1/files/gallery/wakue_02.jpg http://www.mca.ckras.com/z1/files/ga...aseumb2_08.jpg and hercules 9800 http://www.mca.ckras.com/z1/files/gallery/98_02.jpg |
Very, very nice, I particularly like your hold down mechanism on the VRs. Good idea.
What hose size is that, and what are the springs for, to stop kinks? How is your flow rate? I see a lot of restriction, not that that's necessarily bad depending on your aims. Great work Cheers Incoherent |
Shit!!!!! :D
this guy has more blocks is his box than I have!!!!!!!!   |
sounds like a challenge to me #rotor :)
|
Nice work inndeed! What tools did you use under the construction prosess?
Drillpress og a CNC system :) -P- |
Nice!
Im going to have a go at full watercooling but im going to have everything in the case including 2 pumps, 2 rads and a large res! :) |
I use 8x1mm hose (8mm inside diameter, 10mm outside diameter).
> what are the springs for, to stop kinks? Yes... > How is your flow rate? The CPU radiator reduces the flow at most because of the microstructure. The other radiators and the radiator have a good flow. > What tools did you use under the construction prosess? Drill.. |
i'm using the Eheim 1048
Radiator: HTF2 dual with 2 fan's (120mm) and in a few days get I this: AC evo120 with one fan (120mm) |
wow I love it... I would love that Southbrige cooler :D for my 8rda+
You could market a couple of those babys for sure.. and advertise them on EPOX boards.. |
I need some copper
|
Nicely done b4iT!!!
|
Nicely done. I particularly like the MOSFET block mount: pretty clever.
|
nice work!
|
Top work chief!
|
were did you buy those fittings?
|
Hey very nice!!
What benefits you noticed, over volting? Any radical overclocking results lately? Post some Testing please. That's exactly what I was planning, good thing you got it going. I'm still thinking if it's really worth the effort. Good news! |
Just noticed is that a Silver CPU block or a super polished one?
|
Hard to see the cpu block in the pics, its shadowed by the others. It definatly looks more pollished than the others, but the colour could be a reflection of the others aswell... Im going to guess atleast the top is just well pollisehd copper. I see no point in wasting silver on the top.. The bottom might be, but we can see even less of that, so I also think all copper?
|
Tools used: Drill? What type?
Then you must be good @ it. Others including me seem to have a hard time with a normal press. |
Could you please tell me where you purchased those springs?
|
any pics of design/inside of the blocks?
look great! |
i have to make a vdimm/vbt mod ... the ram (2x 512mb pc3200 twinmos/bh-5) needs more volt ;)
the cpu block: icebear systems mc1 -> www.icebearsystems.de one of the best cpu blocks in germany Copper with microstructure. tools for the other coolers: drill, saw, "dremel" http://www.mca.ckras.com/z1/gallery_...php?id=nb-kk.1 |
