Joe your machine is dropping packets
FYI,
From my router logs, I am seeing a lot of packets being dropped from Procooling's server, which could be an indication of some hardware or connectivity problems, or bad configuration of an application; a throttler, portsentry or firewall perhaps? Well any how, it is not affecting web browsing significantly other than a few images here and there that are not loading completely (at least from my perspective), but suspect problems would be quite noticeable when using ftp. |
No issues here.

Umm I use teamspeak, IRC and a few other apps that you would notice connectivity issues with to the server (as well as a SSH2 session thats been up for 3 weeks to the server). I havent seen any issues of any kind.
you may want to use some real trace diag software and see where the PL is being generated in the trek between you and the server. Could be a lag'd router somewhere between you and it. |
Not ready to launch a barrage of tests on your server, but simple traces do not show any problems. Strange tho, I am continually having problems with procooling's main page specifcally, and with the "show your pics" threads. It shows on the router logs as the packets have been droped.
No harm done then, it could very well be one of my routers (they have acted on me before), or as you say something wrong during the many hops to your server. |
