Spiffy anodizing howto guide
I used to be real into paintballing (a goodly proportion of my 21 some odd years have gone by since I gave that up) and I remembered a howto guide for anodizing barrels on this one website. Lo and behold, said website and guide still exist. I initially thought "watercooling", but I guess there are enough aluminum parts in cases that this could be a "general" topic. I mean, hell, we all know that you'd get far better overclocks in a lian-li anodized black and red, right?
Although now that I think about it, one of those "splatter" designs you see on paintguns could make for a pretty unique case. click me! |
Looks "doable".
However, i found a few parts a bit confusing. Good find thou. |

Remember for a good corrosion resistant finish (for inside the water passage) you want at least type 2 anodizing which I don't belive this is.
This somewhat explains the differences. http://www.walgren.com/anodizing-systems.html You would want a hard coating IMO. |

Some of the "questions" rose on the bucked system assembled (some issues with explanation itself ), the solution used (not terribly clear) , and "dipping time" :D. Then again, english is not my main language , and bad english can be a pain to decipher. ;) |
