Peltier & temps

Hello there!!

I have an amd cpu with 110watts...(2450-1,84v)

Alone with water cooling has 30C.If I put a peltier of 170W how much i fell in temperature??

THANKS!! :)

depends on how cool you can get the hot side and the thickness of the cold plate.
Probably not that much cooler. You really need 200+ watts of peltier to cool over 100 watts of CPU. Like I said though, it all depends on how cool you can get the hot side and the thickness of the cold plate.

At best you might drop it down below ambient. At worst it'll be worse than straight water. It depends on your cooling system.
