Any curves/comparos online for 1048 vs. HPPS vs. mcp600?

Per subject.
I assume the regular 1/2" eheim outlet nipple fits the HPPS.

Here are some curves for you. Link to ocau (must register unfortunatly)

I saw that graph elsewhere on this forum too. I'm specifically just curious about the HPPS. Any tests for it yet?

What's HPPS?

Still a nice pump, but overall you could probably get by with using the Eheim 1048's PQ curve and wouldn't be terribly far off the mark.

Personally I'd take the MCP600 over it without any reservations whatsoever.

Seems to me all it is just a Eheim 1048 12V version. Even says Ehiem on it.

i believe it's based on a 1046 so i suspect it will have a lower peak flow than a 1048...

i'd second an mcp600 over it (i believe the swiftech is also cheaper...) - i think the only possible advantage of the hpps is that i suspect it's the quietest of the 3...

Yes. If it is anywhere near the sound of a 1048, it's a good buy considering the MCP600 is much louder than the 1048.

I'm using a HPPS in my under-desktop box.
It's very quiet - as far as I can tell, it's actually quieter than the 1046. It certainly vibrates less.
The body is the same size as the 1046, impeller is about the same width but I think it's a bit larger in diameter.
The only comparison I've been able to find online is from watercoolplanet.de (this is a site with erm... questionable block ratings - although maybe they do actually line up this way at very low flow rates).
The spreadsheet is mostly specs from the manufacturer, except it appears they did do a couple of tests themselves, including measuring flow rate through 2m of tubing at various IDs (10mm, 8mm, 6mm) Here's that data extracted:
Code:

            10mm ID          8mm ID                  6mm ID
1046          4,075 l/min        3,337 l/min        1,692 l/min
HPPS          4,796 l/min        3,894 l/min        2,359 l/min
1048          5,313 l/min        3,982 l/min        2,328 l/min
L20ll Pro  5,138 l/min        3,559 l/min        1,946 l/min

I would guess that these were done correctly (how hard is it to time flow into a bucket?)
If I had my act together, I'd at least try to convert these flow rates into actual flow vs head-restriction numbers, which could then be graphed. Guess I don't though (sorry)...
