Looks like to me that with a 2"ID YF105 flange that you are WAY over the desired liquid flow range (Table 1.4.1). Even the smallest tube (0.5"ID) seems off the scale in fact. Get a second opinion though; I've been wrong before :)

Thank you.

I was also able to Google for the same document. Yeah, 9.8 gpm minimum is pretty useless...

The search continues!

In the mean time, I picked up this meter:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3823494678

but no info on it. (The price was right, and the graduations interesting).

Here's some decent quality liquid flowmeters we've used in our laboratory before: http://www.kinginstrumentco.com/products/products.html. They do cover the flowrates you need at least. Might be a bit pricey though, depends on your budget.

bigben2k 07-05-2004 08:12 PM

Yeah, I know that one, thanks.

What do you guys think about this:

Considering your choice I assume you were interested in the 4-20 output.

the 200 or 700 series may work

or maybe this http://www.flowmeters.com/catalog_li...ion_set_id=109

Ok, here's another one:

I dnloaded the spec sheets here:

The accuracy is outstanding (but probably seriously out-dated), but the pressure drop is dismal.

You have minutes...

bigben2k 07-26-2004 09:32 PM

Oh well. The pressure drop was dismal anyways.
