n00b Question

OK I have sucessfully found some acrylic so let the party begin, All i need is to know what dimensions i should be looking at when ordering copper, I want to go for the #rotor block design COMPLETELY COPPER, because i dont like the idea of not having it soldered together, the acrylic is for my custom resevoir, I plaon on milling all of this on a drill press and router so help me out here! Im not wanting to spend a fortune on copper so what thickness do i need? I will be ordering it from Online Metals unless lowes carries the right thickness (I have a credit line :evilaugh: ) Anywho INPUT! (I feel like the robot on short circuit.) Also if this means anything its a p4 prescott so w/e the dimensions need to be for that.

It's got to be 2" wide, to cover the socket. It should be at least 2" long, depending on your mounting solution. 2 1/2" to 3" would be better, if the mounting hardware is going to be integrated (check socket measurements).

As for thickness, it's really going to depend on the design you want. Got any ideas so far?

3/8" or 10mm is a good thickness. I've had good results with 4mm bases and 6mm pins.
