Default Dead in the water.

Today my mum came home with a Albatron Geforce FX 5900 that my little brother found in the river. it looked a bit shitty, had been in the water for a few days by the look of it. i thought it would be scrap at first, but the HSF has just finished drying out in the airing cupboard and i have gone over it with a few cotton buds to make sure (a can of compressed air is very helpfull in these situations ) and it seemed okay, so i put 12v through the fans to see what would happen... 2 of the three span up. i thought i had a dead fan... turns out i dont, apparently its some kind of smart fan, when one of the two primarys fail, the third takes over... i stopped one of the fans, the third span up. kewl i thought. i then moved onto the now slightly cleaner PCB. the spray air got some more water out form under the ram chips, but it doesnt seem to want to dry out on its own, so i think its time for a White Spirit bath and a blast from the air compressor.

I will update later if it works
