If you're going with a Mag pump, then the Mag 3 is the better choice. Ignore the peak flow rating - it's basically meaningless if it's above 150GPH as very few systems will ever see that much flow due to their restrictiveness.
What you want is good pumping pressure at flow rates you want to see, and the Mag3 and the Mag5 will deliver near identical pressures at the sorts of flow rates you will get, but the Mag3 consumes less power and dumps less heat into your system, meaning your CPU will be cooler.
