I'm sure he is not accurate with the numbers, as he does not have all the info needed, but I guess he might be damm close.
I do know that the ratio for the MCP600 is better, as it has a closed impellerand better desighn.
"all" the other pumps uses up to 5 times more power, and that's heat/sound(vibration)/light.
