I was wondering about the washer.

I turned the pump down it had been running for 1 hour after filling, the other one is now running 24 hrs more.. (and it is indeed getting more silent)

I opened it up again, and all though hard to see, the smooth side was facing the correct side.
The smooth side is a bit shiny it you hold it into the light, the other side feels smooth also, but it's not.

I made some point of that the raw surface should not connect to the outer housing, but seeing that it is also real smooth (but not shiny) I guess having that part contacting the housing only helps it to wear-in. Right?
