Easy as pie. If using Windows XP:
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Services and Applications -> Services
Right click on the Distributed Folding service, Select Properties, Click on the Recovery tab. There you will find various options to automatically restart the service when it fails.
Beware, that setting an automatic restart could easily cause an infinite loop of stopping/starting cycles if the application has bugs.
