if its the same layout as a 9700 then I have measurements you could use.
I know there are some diferences though, for example there is no heatspreader on the back of 9800, some of the chips on the back have been moved around, and the 9800 uses a 1" molex doesnt it? while the 9700 used a 1/2" floppy drive type power connector..
4.6mm is the size of the ram chips from both sides including the pcb between them on 9700, that would probably be the same..
