Damn, if only i had read this when you first posted. We just scrapped a '87 Golf GTI at work, the insides were fine, but it had been in storage by the sea for the past 15 years and rusted to bits, the guy payed £20 for it, ended up paying £30 for it to be towed away
Nevermind, i got a heatercore and a nice set of alloys out of it
