I'm using a Via Aqua 1300, and I'm using a plastic 90-degree elbow fitting on the outlet side of the pump, and I need the hose barb to point in a specific direction.

The problem is that when it's pointing in the right direction, it won't quite be as tight as it could be, and when fully tightened, it points off in an inconvenient direction.

I was thinking of using clear silicone sealer to account for being "less than full tight". Can anyone think of another way to accomplish the same goal?

BTW, after about four hours of leak testing, this is currently the only leak in any of the components.
