Brian, I was telling my wife about you experience. We're pretty damn frightened, we have been trying to have a kid since I got back and now we're pretty scared sh1tless about it!

Don't be scared about stroke. My wife's ObGyn has been in practice for 15 or more years & this is the first time he's seen it. Instead, be scared of having to raise a person into some reasonable fascimile of responsible adulthood.
Remember how hard it was for our parents to get us to grow up? Note to some of you who are younger: your parents are TRYING and you could probably help them a bit more. I know that I could have!
