I had the idea and posted before I had a look at the cases. I agree they are far too thin (~1mm?) and crack easlly, they are too brittle..
This could work if 5 or 6 cases were glued together for strength but I dont think I could be arsed.
Ive looked at rs and they didnt have it in any small enough quantity
