A single pass rad when compared to a dual pass rad of the same size and number of tubes has only about 70% of the resistence of the dual pass core.

And a single pass like the core from a 69-72 pick up with air would be even better than that 70% figure when compared to the rad in the link you provided. The single pass is a bit wider, more tubes, so lower resistence for that reason also.

The single pass advantages are well worth having.
