An MCP300 isn't much better for flow rate. still could be a pump problem.
also, sounds like the rad you are usuing is killing the flow have you checked with the pump and the rad alone to see how bad?
sounds like the Dtek core will help alot. BUT you will want a 300gph or better pump soon.
