Gallatin is the next Xeon, with 4mb L3 Cache
Nocona is the Xeon after that, with 64-bit extensions
Potomac is the Xeon with 64-bit extensions for 4 and 8 way systems
Banias is the current Pentium M (the processor component of Centrino)
Dothan is the successor to the current Pentium M with 2mb L3 Cache
Canterwood is in fact a chipset - it is the 875 P4 chipset
Yamhill is codename for Intel X86-64 features - to be enabled in Nocona and Potomac
Applebred is the .13 micron AMD Duron processor
Thorton is the Barton core with 256kb cache (its a combination of the words Thoroughbred & Barton)
