Just as a note, I have found that nylon 'Tie-wraps' (aka cable ties, the nylon straps with a one way head you tie up wiring with) make good hose clamp substitutes so long as the hose is a tight fit on the barb or fitting to begin with. It also helps if there is some sort of bulge in the fitting between the tie-wrap and the end of the fitting. Barbs are no problem, and when using plain tubing I drive a tapered pin into the end just enough to flare it out a small amount. If you do this, the tie-wrap will act as a cuff that jams the tubing tight against the bulge and will keep it from moving.

I find the larger size tie-wraps are most suitable (~1/4" wide) and you need to make sure they are pulled as tight as possible. If you do this I think you'll like the results, as it is a very neat and tidy solution that works well and takes less room than using conventional worm drive cable clamps.
