Been running an Eheim 1250 on the UPS with no problems.
I do not see a problem with pure sine wave UPS and the size of pumps you are using.
Actually, do a search on Aquarium in APC's website.
THey have quite a few story I remeber reading about APC UPS saving Aquarium & pets live during blackouts.
