By using
this online calculator, I'd say you are looking at 95 gpm on average... This could be a fairly large problem..... but this calculator does not take into account the water being pulled through the pipe from other sources- it just measures how much water will move through that orifice at a given pressure. It also doesnt factor the resistance on the other side of the pipe. Heavy clay around the pipe will surely impede flow through the hole. There are really too many factors to compute, but I'd say 95gpm tops.
EDIT: Also, the water going through the hole will be much less when the water in the pipe is flowing fast. When the water is more stagnant, however, you will see a higher flow rate through the hole.
