I disagree. In a passive radiator or in this case, the case

, a good contact along with good thermal conductivity would increase the efiiciency of the setup by a few degrees (which is a lot in a passive system)
Glue is usually an insulator and would so hinder heat conduction. Thats why finned tubing or similar appliances with ideal contact are so expensive - they are difficult to produce.
