It's too big and bulky, and it uses a ball
There is a new one they made though that uses an optical laser that has a 1000 dpi optical sensor, even logitech's new MX-510 "only" has an 800 dpi optical sensor. Maybe once people start to notice the new one it'll start to take a share of peoples desktops :shrug:
