I would prefer using an actual OpenGL card, as I plan to use SolidWorks extensively. I would also prefer using something that SolidWorks has confirmed works right, because I really don't want to deal with problems, or do without some feature without my knowing.
As it stands, a 4200 is flagged yellow (Passed with limitations. These are listed in the notes field) and the notes are not accessible

The old notes were about redraw errors whilst zoomed in; and multiple windows open at the same time (although, ive never found this to happen to me);
Fair enough too ben; Ive got two pc's, so my next upgrade will be purely for gaming, and this Ti4200 will go in the 1700+ @2.1ghz for my solidworks stuff, if the 9800pro spits the dummy on solidworks.
BillA - No worries; the card seems to work really well for me

I'm using windows XP, SP2 beta, with the 45.23 detonators - its important which dets you use, thats what makes the difference to the card running properly or not, ive found; I only imagine that the people at solidworks used the newest drivers available (which i have done) and experienced the errors they say (lines dissapearing when zoomed in, etc)
