Fwiw, Ben I've got an ATI 9600 Pro 256meg I bought mostly for gaming. I use it with Solidworks 2004 and one of the recent drivers did fix the disappearing dimensions issue.

I don't do any real large assemblies, but the 9600 runs almost perfectly with SW. Almost...The one problem (feature?) happens when I move a drawing view. During the move, the border of the drawing view leaves tracers, multiple borders that follow the drag path. They disappear when I stop dragging. Minor annoyance more than anything.

My computer with the 9600 is down at the moment, I'll try the latest drivers when I get it working and see if the problem has been fixed.
