i might possibly be a better idea to just get an adaptor and do it all in 1/2", of course this will cause alittle bit of restriction, but in terms or parts its just going to be less hassle.
Your water blocks, as stated on the forums many times would be better in series. this is because you want to have the highest possible flow rate across thes components.
i suppose having them in parallel is useful, if you have an flow rate that is two times the point at which the waterblock starts to exhibit insignificant gains in cooling from high flow rates.
