Heh heh... When I was in the US Army I worked in the Division Data Center. We fielded a bunch of Burroughs minis. One day a unit clerk was on sick call, and his section Chief didn't want his metrics to suffer, so he was trying to get daily transactions onto a floppy to bring up to the next higher headquarters. He called to report problems with the hardware, specifically that the 5-1/4 floppy drive would not read or write a disk. After a few moments it was determined he was exspending considerable effort removing the actual disk from the vinyl jacket before inserting it into the drive.

Not cooling related, but none-the-less pertinent. When you design, consider that no matter how simple you make the operation of a device, someone can make it complicated in ways you never dreamed.
