I used to have that exact setup, Athlon 750 on a K7M, what I had to do to get the chip up over 850 was move 2 SMD resistors on the chip to change the cache divider. It's very very difficult to do (especially for me because I'd never done it before and I had no magnifying glass at the time). On a 750 the divider is normally 2/5, change it to 1/3 and you'll be able to go faster. My 750 topped out at about 950, I was able to get it to 966 semi stable, but couldn't pull off 1000.. There's also a voltage hack for the K7M that will get the voltage much higher, which would have done the trick for that CPU, but I found that just as I was ready to move on. I'm sorry I don't have URL's to help ya out, just been too long since that era. I'd say use Google and do some searching.
