You can use any 266FSB Athlon T-bird on the Thunder K7 without modification. However, the Thunder isn't exactly an Overclocker friendly board. There are NO voltage, multiplier, or FSB settings anywhere. The easiest way to overclock on this board is to use the combinations of the bridges on the top of the chip. Not exactly the safest thing either. I am in the process of building a Thunder K7 system. I'm waiting on the Athlon MP 1.4Ghz chips.. (eta August).. I am going to figure out the combonations of bridges on the MP chips. Or perhaps wire the BP-FID and FID pins to do what "I" want them too... HA HA The world will be mine.....
