I also am having the same posting problem with my IC7-MAX3. I've got a 3.4 Ghz P4 in there, and a Radeon. The cooling is a ThermalTake fan (6000 rpm) and heatsink (copper). I'm going to try "unsagging" the mobo. But I don't know why it's happening.
