actually i think he was the first one to post a 15 year old remark. nikhsub1 and redleader gave good advice/comments about how to fix his system and he just couldnt handle the critique and goes "thats just silly." then makes claims a/b how gureat his temps and flow is. it only got negative after he said that because he came here looking for advice and basically rejected and denied anything anybody said to him. he shoulda been more open to constructive criticism before coming to this forum.
redundancy? just think when one pump dies whats going to push the water through the other half of the tubes. as redleader said it would create a short circuit. redundancy would be in a series where it can still pump thru the same path. just think like stacking two fans on top of each other, the pressure adds up. much like what two pumps would do. and with 3/8" going into 1/2" the flow is being killed b/c the 3/8" is not feeding the 1/2" tubes enough.
the problem is that this forum might not be like other forums. personally i dont post that much, only read because i know that my w/c knowledge is very limited. but this is the only forum i ever read because of the type of people and the type of post on procooling, even if they go way over my head. you have engineers here who post all the time and who debate back and forth based on facts and science. and thats what different about this forum. people like to obey the fundamental rules of science to govern their thoughts on watercooling. over on some, not all, forums you could post a picture of ur system like gazorp and everyone would be in awe w/ the two csp pumps and his thermaltake sensors and forget a/b the flaws in his system. people would kiss your ass and tell ya it smelled like roses. and maybe thats where he came from but over here its not a critique about how nice ur systems look, or how low ur errant temp sensors read, its about how does it really work. thats just my opinion tho.
