1. you got balls
2. I was thinking the same thing about the lettering tonight
3. Cores are flat

besides for the laser burned lettering there isn't any imperfections in the core that would make it warped. ( the core cant be warped cause the platters have to be perfectly flat to be etched properly)

Sanding your core is ... insane and pretty unessesary. just use an ultra thin coating of AS or ASII and it will fill the lil recesses made by the text burning process, and thats all you need.
