I just sold my Samsung Syncmaster 955df to a local for $85 and we decided to meet at a local Chick-Fil-A to make the exchange. We got there, put the monitor in his mom's CRV, and he, his brother, and I went in and ate some chicken and shot the shit a little.
We finish the meal and leave in our cars, me first, and I go along my way.
I get home and am welcomed to this conversation:

sp862: you arent going to believe what happened

sp862: I hit a pole with my moms car in the chick fil a parking lot

sp862: and it ****ed it up good

sp862: yep
sp862: I just now got home
SwissPatriotRG: holy crap
SwissPatriotRG: that totally sucks
SwissPatriotRG: what happened?
sp862: lol, I was trying to prevent teh monitor from falling
sp862: and I turned too hard
sp862: it sucked man
SwissPatriotRG: why didnt you put the seat belt on it?
sp862: oh well
sp862: I was tellin my bro to push his seat back to secure it
sp862: and thats when it happened
sp862: you live and you learn
SwissPatriotRG: dude, is the car ****ed up too?
sp862: but I got the monitor hooked up
sp862: yea the car is messed
sp862: we had to have it towed
SwissPatriotRG: geez
SwissPatriotRG: i didnt see it
sp862: yea
SwissPatriotRG: aah, man
sp862: it sucked
sp862: but the monitor works great
SwissPatriotRG: lol
SwissPatriotRG: did the airbags come out or anything?

Not sure what happened at the end, it is possible his internet simply cut off, maybe I made a bad comment, maybe his mom came in and ripped the computer out of the wall after seeing her car in shambles.
The guy didnt want it shipped, maybe he should have just let me do what I wanted to do first: ship it for like 10 bucks. We could have saved gas, a pricey meal at Chick-Fil-A, and a new-ish Honda CRV :shrug:
