I use something that looks like a cross between a pair of scissors and a pair of pliers. The Jaw that cuts is actually a razor blade. Some techs call it hose cutters. It gives a perfect cut everytime and I use it on Radiator hoses. Tygon isn't very thick, so you can make do with an exacto knife or ever a good pair of scissors.
