Original thermal paste was the stuff that came on stock HSF. To my surprise, it looked very silverish and AS-like.

Yeah, that's what I think so too, but I don't want my CPU incinerating itself IF something goes wrong with the cooling system and the sensor doesn't read the increase correctly to notify me/auto shutdown.

Here's what the temps are like: MB 38C, AUX 40C, and CPU 39C (after calibrating MBM downwards 34C to match BIOS)

As you can see, all the temps are pretty low, which is why I'm not sure if the right sensors are selected or not. Normally the CPU would stand out. In this case the AUX stands out. What could the AUX be for if it isn't for CPU or MB?
