to image the HD, remove it from the snap, install it in your PC. Then, run whichever imaging program you prefer on it (there are lots) to save an image (i.e.. a single file with an exact copy of the snap drive) to your C drive. (make sure you have enough free space first of course). I would recommend using something that can make an exact bit-by-bit copy. I use Symantec's ghost for that (search google for ghost32.exe, you can run it from windows).
