lol it's not about the idle temp. see understress ur hsf temp jumps because the air isnt dense enough to take away all the heat, while water is much more dense therefore it can keep getting much more heat under extreme stress and still keep things close to the temp ur getting now.
for example i'm running my fans at 4.5volts so they are VERY quite, and im still stable with p3 800@960 + watercooling vid card. my temps are usually 6-8 cels over ambient. i have antifreeze,water wetter,dye, and distilled water in there.

but seriously as long as you can overclock higher and stay stable temps don't really matter, its the fact that under extreme stress water will keep ur temps still low.

btw with alpha pep66 and globalwin 38cfm i had my idle temp barely 2 cels over ambient, but i still couldnt stay at 960 stable, with watercooling i could go to 1032 and stay way stable (just need to pump voltage for fans higher, but i want em very quite so i stay at 960).
