OK thanks for the info, that's what my old design looked like for the loop. Recently I decided to just attach a jumper tub to the back when I unplug output tubes. As long as they are above water level, that shouldn't be a problem. I decided to go that route, because I couldn't find any small/cool looking valves, it would be cheaper and I wouldn't have to worry about being a moron and forgetting to open the inside valve for the closed loop, heh.
As far as those pumps go, I take it you don't like the eheim? I've been doing a lot of research on this project, but haven't really found any good pump comparisons out there. I just want to make sure before spending 50-120 dollars that I'm getting my moneys worth and that this will even work.
A.) The pump I get can supply enough pressure without causing too much back pressure on the tubes/waterblock/radiators. Which I guess isn't an issue.
