OMG...you had me rolling on that one!
Anyway....sorry for no response...
The pics of the waterblock will have to wait for a bit until I can find some kind of small wrench to open the blocks with....would have been nice if Swiftech made them so I could open them with a flat head screwdriver....
So...the setup is the following:
Two swiftech waterblocks(just the one has a hole in it....although the other looks like it was gonna be there soon...paint was a little messed up like I took a lighter to it)...
The rad was/is a blackice extreme....with a 120mm fan on it....
The pump is the Eheim 1250....
When I first installed it the temps on the CPUs were 30 and 31 C(no load)....I initially started looking into it because my temps started being around 40C (no load)....and I wanted to try a new pump...
Anyhow....i bought a new pump...DC this time...(the aquaextreme one)...wanna see if it can provide enough flow for 2 chips....
I got the new swiftech blocks...the new ones that use the original retainer clips on the mobo instead of the screw system that shipped with the previous blocks....
ok...i'll try to post some pics once I get home...i'll poke around and try to find something that can open those blocks....
Do you guys think the blackice is still usable?
