Absolutely out of control. That is rediculous unless you want your case to look like a 3 y/o designed the cooling system.
Whatever happened to the practical heatsinks like the thermalrights? They are great performance and well built, and quiet with the right fan.
Then again, most watercooled systems are out of control
I mean, why do we need 2 120mm fans and a 2" thick radiator to cool a little microprocessor? Because we can.
