I agree it is very sad. I think we would be far better off if, speeches, interviews, debates, voting records, books and polity decisions; were main stimulus for the voter. I'd be happy to see the political commercial/marketing campaign go away. Just look at some of the comments in this thread…they just reiterate spin.
At lest it seems people are genially interested in their republic this election.
